You are cordially invited to attend the 2009 Fall NANOFANS (Focusing on Advanced Nanobio Systems) Forum meeting that will be held on November 18, 2009 (Wednesday) between 11 AM - 2 PM at the Nanotechnology Research Center, Marcus Nanotechnology Building, Georgia Tech. A box lunch is also included at no cost to the participants. Please RSVP by November 11, 2009 to reserve your place.

The focus of this event will be “Nanotechnology Applications in Medical Imaging”. We are fortunate to have Dr. Ravi Bellamkonda (BME), Dr. Robert Dickson (Chemistry & Biochemistry), Dr. Christine Payne(Chemistry & Biochemistry), and Dr. Phil Santangelo (BME) from Georgia Tech. who are all actively involved in the research area of "nanotechnology in medical imaging," speak to us on their current research topics. Please click the link below for the titles of their presentation and the agenda: http://www.mirc.gatech.edu/nanofans_nov09.pdf

The goal for the forum is to connect the medical/life sciences/biology and nanotechnology communities. The purpose of this meeting is also to let the researchers in these biomedical/ life sciences areas know about the wide range of resources available for usage at the GaTech-Nanotechnology Research Center. After the talks, a tour of the new Marcus Nanotechnology Research building will be organized to the interested participants. Please let us know if you would like to participate when you send RSVP to reserve your place.
